1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Simply Lactation website, services, forms, appointment booking options, educational content, and related communications.
By accessing our website, submitting a form, booking an appointment, communicating with us, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. About Simply Lactation
Simply Lactation provides lactation consultation and related support services, which may include in-home visits, virtual consultations, breastfeeding support, pumping guidance, infant feeding support, care plans, follow-up communication, and related educational resources.
The specific services available may vary based on location, appointment type, provider availability, patient needs, insurance eligibility, and other factors.
3. Not for Emergencies
The website and services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you or your baby are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.
Do not use our website, forms, email, text messages, WhatsApp, or appointment requests for urgent or emergency medical situations.
4. Educational Content and Medical Disclaimer
Content on the Simply Lactation website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care from a licensed physician, pediatrician, OB/GYN, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider.
Lactation support may help with breastfeeding, pumping, milk supply, latch, feeding plans, and related concerns, but it does not replace medical care for you or your baby.
Always contact your healthcare provider directly regarding medical conditions, symptoms, medications, infant weight concerns, dehydration, fever, pain, infection, jaundice, poor feeding, or any urgent health issue.
5. No Guarantee of Results
Every parent, baby, feeding situation, and health history is different. Simply Lactation does not guarantee specific outcomes, including milk supply changes, latch improvement, feeding success, insurance approval, reimbursement, or resolution of any health concern.
6. Appointments and Availability
Appointment requests are subject to availability and confirmation. Submitting a form or request does not guarantee an appointment until the appointment has been confirmed by Simply Lactation.
We reserve the right to reschedule, decline, or cancel appointments when necessary due to provider availability, incomplete information, safety concerns, service area limitations, insurance issues, or other operational reasons.
7. In-Home Visits
For in-home visits, you agree to provide a safe, clean, and accessible environment for the consultation. You are responsible for providing accurate location details, entry instructions, parking information, gate codes, pet information, and any other information needed for the provider to safely complete the visit.
Simply Lactation may cancel or discontinue an in-home visit if the provider determines that the environment is unsafe, inaccessible, inappropriate, or outside the confirmed service area.
8. Virtual Consultations
Virtual consultations may be provided through video, phone, or other communication platforms. You are responsible for having a working internet connection, compatible device, private location, and any supplies needed for the consultation.
Virtual consultations have limitations because the provider may not be physically present to examine you or your baby. If in-person evaluation or medical care is needed, you may be advised to contact your physician, pediatrician, OB/GYN, midwife, or another qualified healthcare provider.
9. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including medical history, feeding history, medications, allergies, infant health information, insurance details, and any other information relevant to the services.
You are responsible for following up with your healthcare providers as needed and for seeking medical care when appropriate.
10. Payments, Insurance, and Billing
Payment, insurance coverage, and billing terms may vary depending on your appointment type, insurance plan, eligibility, benefits, and the services provided.
If insurance is used, coverage is not guaranteed. You are responsible for providing accurate insurance information and for any amounts not covered, denied, or reimbursed by your insurance plan, unless otherwise required by applicable law or a written agreement.
Simply Lactation may use third-party platforms or service providers for insurance verification, billing, payment processing, scheduling, or administrative support.
11. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Appointment cancellations, late cancellations, and no-shows are subject to the Simply Lactation Patient Consent & Cancellation Policy.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a cancellation fee may apply if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or if the client is unavailable for the scheduled appointment.
12. Communications
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from Simply Lactation by phone, email, text message, WhatsApp, or other communication methods for appointment scheduling, care coordination, service updates, reminders, billing, and follow-up support.
Email, text, and messaging platforms may not be fully secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through unsecured channels unless you understand and accept the risks.
13. Website Use
You agree not to use the website in any way that could damage, disable, overload, interfere with, or impair the website, our systems, or another user’s access to the website.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, servers, accounts, systems, or data connected to Simply Lactation.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, images, logos, designs, layouts, educational materials, and other materials, is owned by Simply Lactation or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.
